SCRUBAZAN - The amazing formula for all your cleaning jobs

SCRUBAZAN was developed using a new approach to cleaning and the most sophisticated chemical blending technology. Unique "dirt packing" ingredients lift and pack dirt in tiny sealed containers making one of the most innovative cleaners and stain removers on the market. The non-toxic, non-flammable, environmentally friendly, hypo-allergenic and non-irritant product.

COLORFAST OR NOT

Please note that SCRUBAZAN is highly concentrated and can remove non-colorfast dyes from fabrics. Therefore all fabrics, carpets and garments should be tested for colorfastness before any attempt is made to remove stains. The manufacturer and distributor do not assume any responsibility for color loss as a result of using the product. Always check for colorfastness before using SCRUBAZAN.

How to test a Fabric/Surface for Colorfastness:

  1. Take a small volume of full strength SCRUBAZAN and wet an inconspicuous area on the fabric/surface.
  2. Work the gel into the fabric/surface with your finger as if you are busy removing a stain. Leave the product on for 3 - 5 minutes.
  3. Rinse and allow it to dry and inspect it for color fading.
  4. If there is no fading or change in color you can assume that the fabric/surface is colorfast.
  5. If there is a slight change in color or fading you are advised not to use SCRUBAZAN on that specific article or fabric.

Please note that color fading with SCRUBAZAN is very rare because of its gentle formulation but testing should always be undertaken. Certain fabrics/surfaces can develop watermarks even when contacting clean water. If a fabric is lined, care should be taken not to wet such lining when removing stains. Linings often show stain marks even when exposed to clean water.

DESIGNED NOT TO REMOVE PERMANENT DYES

Please note that SCRUBAZAN will not remove stains that contain permanent dyes such as certain types of permanent marker inks and colorants. When SCRUBAZAN was developed, careful precautions were taken not to remove such agents to avoid the removal of colorfast dyes used in fabrics and carpets.

HOW TO USE SCRUBAZAN AS A SPOT REMOVER

Rules of Thumb:

  1. Always try to remove stains as soon as possible while still fresh before they have an opportunity to bond or become embedded.
  2. Once you wash a stained garment with standard detergents or spot removers and iron or tumble dry, it becomes very difficult and may even be impossible to remove stains.
  3. Stubborn stains may need a few attempts for complete removal. You may need to work SCRUBAZAN into difficult stains and then leave in the sun for an hour before these stains will release. A small percentage of stains can be very difficult or even impossible to remove.

Please note that SCRUBAZAN is a concentrated formulation

  1. Use full concentrated SCRUBAZAN for the most stubborn stains.
  2. Use 1 part SCRUBAZAN to 1 parts water for fairly heavy stains.
  3. Use 1 part SCRUBAZAN to 5 parts water for light stains.

Diluted formula can be applied using a spray bottle. Using warm water will increase SCRUBAZAN efficacy as a stain remover.

Fabric

  1. Test the fabric for colorfastness as described above.
  2. Always attempt to remove stains as soon as possible and preferably before the staining agent dries.
  3. When possible, remove any excess stain by blotting with a clean absorbent sponge or paper towel.
  4. If possible rinse the solid area with cold water and try and remove most marks before you apply SCRUBAZAN.
  5. Place a clean absorbent cloth or old towel under the area that you want to treat.
  6. For very severe stains you may need to work undiluted gel into the soiled area with your fingers. For lighter stains you can dilute the product as described above.
  7. Always work from the reverse side of the stain.
  8. Rub the soiled area using your hands or soft brush. Please be careful because certain fabrics and fibers can be damaged when you use a brush.
  9. Rinse the treated area with water. Use hot, warm or cold water according to the temperature listed in the washing instructions on the label of the fabric.
  10. Repeat this process if necessary or leave in the sun if a second or third attempt fails to remove the stain 100%.
  11. Wash the article according to the washing instructions on the label.
  12. If you want to pre-treat light stains before your normal wash, all you need to do is spray the stain with SCRUBAZAN before you wash the garment in accordance with its washing instructions.

Carpets

  1. Test the carpet for colorfastness.
  2. Always attempt to remove stains as soon as possible and preferably before the staining agent dries.
  3. If necessary, remove excess staining agent using a blunt knife or spoon and paper towel.
  4. Use clean cold water to remove as much of the stain as possible by dabbing the soiled area.
  5. Use a clean, dry cloth and remove as much of the water as possible.
  6. Dilute SCRUBAZAN as described above depending on the severity of the stain.
  7. Spray the soiled area.
  8. Gently work the product into the soiled area using a soft brush or sponge.
  9. Rinse the area well to remove as much of the SCRUBAZAN as possible.
  10. Blot the area with a clean dry absorbent cloth or paper towel until dry.
  11. If necessary repeat the process.

Please note that using the foam of SCRUBAZAN can clean certain delicate carpets. Dilute as indicated above and work up foam in a bowl with your hands. Take the foam and work the foam into the soiled area. Clean with a clean, dry absorbent cloth or paper towel.

Degreaser

Spray the heavy duty formula on the engine and work in with brush or cloth. Leave for 5mins and rinse clean. Please note that a warm or hot water mixture will enhance the grease cutting ability of SCRUBAZAN.

Use 2 parts SCRUBAZAN to 1 part thinners to 7 parts water. Follow the feeding instruction of the pressure system that you are working with. This formula will cut through most grease, grime and dirt and work in a cost effective and efficient manner. Keep this mixture out of reach of children.

Apply heavy duty formulation to scouring pad and work into grill. Dry with a clean cloth.

Spray the area with a heavy duty mixture made with warm or hot water to activate additional cleaning power. Lave for a few minutes and wipe clean. Repeat process if necessary. Use a scratch preventing hard cleaning sponge if necessary.
